Set on the hills of Terres Basses, the private, gated community on the French side of Saint-Martin, Villa Pamplemousse was designed for families and friends who want to share space, light and the sea view.
A stone path leads to the entrance, where a water feature runs through the house. The villa unfolds in a series of terraces that follow the slope and the view: the great room opens through arched doors onto covered verandas, with warm red and bronze tones, Indian and Asian art and a bright, airy palette.
The fully equipped kitchen is organised around a central island and breakfast bar, next to the dining room and a cosy TV lounge.
A few steps down, the oversized infinity pool faces the ocean. Sun loungers on both sides, two gazebos for a shaded lunch or an afternoon nap, a pool bar and a Thai-inspired outdoor lounge: this is where most days are spent.
In the evening, the outdoor kitchen, with its barbecue and pizza oven, and the long table on the covered terrace set the scene for dinners at sunset.
Every bedroom is air-conditioned, with a ceiling fan, a TV, a dressing area and a private en-suite bathroom. Most open directly onto the gardens or terraces.

The villa can also be rented as a 3- or 4-bedroom villa. Some bedrooms are fully accessible, with a step-free path to the pool.
Terres Basses is the most secluded corner of the island: a private, gated residential peninsula on the French side, bordered by three of Saint-Martin's most beautiful beaches.
